5:13 am - sadness

i got the call yesterday evening before my happeninga at fiprepower. My grandmother passed away. the only thing that makes the greiving process easier was the she was an amazing christian. i know where she is and i don't have to worry, but I'm still sad.

i feel like I'm in a funk.
i know everybody has thier sad days, good days, and bad days...
I'm feeling kinda funky and not in a good way.
.truth.
all she was doing was telling me the truth and now it eats away at my memory.
.trust. what is it that you can't trust me?
Or that you find no confidence in me?
i don't remember doing anything wrong...but just be myself.
.selfish.
why is it so diffucult to remember that it's not always about me?

1. I went to see Jack@$$ with my younger brother, Fred. As much as I laughed, I was disgusted as well. In some ways I liked it and in some ways, it made me sick. But I guess that's the persona of Americans now...and if you don't agree… tell the truth- you'd want to see the Steve Irwin footage if you could, right?
2. I was listening to Mariah Carey's daydream CD at the beginning of the week- thanks Mel! (Embarrassing, no?)
3. I hate being sick… my body has decided to breakout into hives for the 5th time in my life.
4. I like work because among other things I make money – but I don’t get nearly enough sleep!
5. All the time in the world would still not be sufficient enough for me to hang out with everyone I wanted to – because I’d probably get distracted doing some sort of arts-n-crafts thing.

life is crazy...anyone agree? I'm a little too busy to get into details but I as for my last public post...I think it's messed up how people in aussie-lands are killing stingrays and leaving them asshore with the tails cut off...I know we all miss our famous crocodile hunter but c'mon folks! the best way to honor his memory is to perseve these creatures- not make them extinct! he'd be ashamed!

12:29 pm - what a wonderul sunday it was !!!!!

So to start my sunday off... I woke up late for sunday school...Sadness but not a big deal. I couldn't find my keys and got distracted a couple of times and therefore began to run late for the 10:45 service all together. I decided to txt a friend to say I'll see here after church and return something to her. At the exact same time I get a txt from her telling me she woke up late too! I tell her mt ordeal with my keys and she offers me a ride. After hanging up i miraculously find my keys...right where I left them...silly me!
She gives me a ride to church, not knowing that were it not for her motivation I'd have stayed home and became melancoly for no good reason... and thus Sunday would have sucked! But it didn't. Church was what I needed to hear...
...I'm a chicken.
And don't learn my lesson the first time i'm taught. I kinda make things difficult for myself. Hopefully I'll learn better! Spent the day hanging out with old friends, some new friends, and others I'd never thought would talk to me again. Half way back to her house, my friend realizes she hasn't dropped me off...I decided to walk home.
on the way I stopped by at an old friend's house... I contiue to walk home wondering about the one "I'd-never-thought-would-talk-to-me-again." All I could ask myself was..."i wonder if his heart hurts as much as mine?"
Once home I spent some quality time with my siblings watching PSYCH on DVR in Mom and Dad's room. Got an enjoyable phone call from out of state. I should never mix cream cheese with spanish rice... heartburn and a headache later I decided to go to bed. I was impressed-I got more sleep last night than usual... regaurdless of some of the low points of the day, thanks to a proactive friend, Sunday was a great day... thank you, my friend!

today...Hopefully going 2 my mom's family----family reunion. or donating platelettes, or watching Mosaic- for once taking a weekend off!
friday...spent most of the night watching the dogs at pamela's and came home to recoup- aka sleep. then She picked me up and we went jogging/walking...then watched a movie! Hung out with My friend adrian until 1:15 saterday morning...watched a movie...
thursday...Hung out most of the day with...
and thenI went to pamela's for womens core group... and spent the night

today is my mother's birthday! (and if you're wondering what that picture means...keep wondering)
My mom understands it, and that's all that matters.
So to all who stumble acroos this post, if you have a mother - and you know what I mean when I say that, and if you don't you'll understand in this next phrase - Let you mother know you care, and not just 'cause it's her birthday or mother's day...be specially kind to her- 'cause she brought you into this world 'ya know! Appriciate her because "...I wouldn't be here without you, Mom. Thanks! and Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!!!"

We got on the metro and went all the way to Anacostia, and missed the big softball game we were going to watch...but I had alot of fun... one of the highlights of my week...indefinitely!
